Payments. Online Payment by Bank Card

Our website is connected to an Internet acquiring system, and you can pay for the Service using Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay bank cards. After confirming the selected service, a secure window with the payment page of ForteBank JSC will open, where you will need to enter your bank card details.

For additional authentication of the cardholder, the 3-D Secure protocol is used. If your issuing bank supports this technology, you will be redirected to its server to complete the additional identification. For information about the rules and methods of additional authentication, please contact the bank that issued your card.

The online payment service is carried out in accordance with the rules of the international payment systems Visa, MasterCard, and UnionPay, based on the principles of confidentiality and payment security. The most up-to-date methods of verification, encryption, and data transmission via secure communication channels are used. Bank card details are entered in a secure window on the ForteBank JSC payment page.

On the payment page, you are required to enter the card number, cardholder’s name, card expiration date, and the three-digit security code (CVV2 for VISA or CVC2 for MasterCard). All required details are shown on the front of the bank card.

CVV2 / CVC2 is a three-digit security code located on the back of the card.

After that, a page of your issuing bank will open in the same window for entering the 3-D Secure code. If static 3-D Secure is not enabled for your card, the code will be sent to your phone number via SMS. If you do not receive the 3-D Secure code, please contact your issuing bank.

3-D Secure is the most advanced technology for ensuring the security of card payments on the Internet. It allows unambiguous identification of the cardholder making the transaction and significantly reduces the risk of fraudulent card transactions.

Security Guarantees

ForteBank JSC protects and processes your bank card data in accordance with the PCI DSS 3.0 security standard. Information is transmitted to the payment gateway using SSL encryption technology. Further data transmission is carried out through closed banking networks with the highest level of reliability. ForteBank JSC does not transfer your card data to us or to any third parties. The 3-D Secure protocol is used for additional cardholder authentication.

If you have any questions regarding a completed payment, you may contact the customer support service of the payment provider by e-mail at [email protected].

Online Payment Security

The personal information you provide (name, address, phone number, e-mail, credit card number) is confidential and is not subject to disclosure. Your credit card details are transmitted only in encrypted form and are not stored on our web server.

The security of Internet payment processing is guaranteed by ForteBank JSC. All payment card transactions are carried out in accordance with the requirements of VISA International, MasterCard, UnionPay, and other payment systems. When transmitting information, specialized security technologies for online card payments are used, and data processing is performed on a secure, high-tech server of the processing company.

Payment by bank cards is secure because:

  • The authorization system guarantees that the buyer’s payment card details (card number, expiration date, CVV2/CVC2) will not fall into the hands of fraudsters, since these data are not stored on the authorization server and cannot be stolen.
  • The buyer enters their payment details directly in the ForteBank JSC authorization system rather than on the online store’s website; therefore, the buyer’s card details are not accessible to third parties.

Refund Policy

When making online payments using payment cards, cash refunds are not permitted. The refund procedure is governed by the rules of international payment systems:

  • The consumer has the right to cancel the purchase at any time before the goods are handed over; after the goods have been delivered, the cancellation must be requested within 14 days.
  • A refund for goods of proper quality is possible provided that their original appearance, consumer properties, and a document confirming the fact and terms of purchase are preserved.
  • The consumer is not entitled to refuse goods of proper quality that have individually defined characteristics if such goods can be used exclusively by the person who purchased them.
  • In the event of a consumer’s refusal of the goods, the seller must refund the amount paid by the consumer no later than ten days from the date the consumer submits the relevant request.

To receive a refund to a bank card, you must complete a “Refund Application”, which will be sent by the Company upon request to your e-mail address, and submit it together with a copy of an identity document to [email protected].

The refund will be credited to the bank card from the date the Company receives the “Refund Application.”

To obtain a refund for transactions processed in error, you must submit a written application along with a copy of an identity document and receipts/confirmations proving the erroneous charge. This application must be sent to [email protected].

The refund amount will be equal to the purchase amount. The period for reviewing the Application and issuing the refund starts from the moment the Company receives the Application and is calculated in business days, excluding public holidays and weekends.
